About CAEM

Community Action for Environmental Management (CAEM) is a non-profit organization based in Malawi. We are dedicated to promoting sustainable development by integrating gender and social inclusion across our focus areas of agriculture and food security, environmental and natural resource management, disaster risk management, and environmental health.

We believe in empowering communities, especially women and marginalized groups, to actively engage in development processes that ensure sustainable and equitable progress.

Our Model

CAEM adopts a flexible and responsive approach to project delivery, allocating resources and personnel to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality. We are committed to fostering inclusive development by involving community members, particularly women, in all stages of project design and implementation.
